HOT SPRINGS ARTIST LINDA PALMERS ART SELECTED FOR INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION

Palmers Prismacolor drawing "TIPTOE THROUGH' was selected by juror Mr. Gerald Peters, owner of the Gerald Peters Gallery of Santa Fe, Dallas, and New York City, for COLORED PENCIL SOCIETY OF AMERICA'S 14TH International Juried Exhibition. Signature status in the society will be awarded to Ms. Palmer during the awards banquet.

Mr. Gerald Peters is known as one of the foremost and knowledgeable authorities on American nineteenth and early twentieth century works, the art of the American West, the Taos Society, the Santa Fe Art Colony, and American Modernism. He has been involved in the art business for over thirty years as a dealer, collector, appraiser, and consultant.

The opening reception for the exhibit is at the Expo New Mexico Fine Arts Gallery, Albuquerque, New Mexico from 6 pm to 9 pm Saturday, July 22, 2006.

Dates of the exhibition: June 28 to July 25, 2006

"The Great Mother III" was selected by Juror, Dr. Kevin Salatino, for the Colored Pencil Society of Americas 11th International Juried Exhibition. The show was held at the Civic and Cultural Center of Brea, California from July 24 to Sept 19, 2003.  This was Linda's 2nd consecutive acceptance.
